Brickside Bar and Grille is conveniently located between Clarksburg and Bridgeport and is right next to the interstate.
"We're sitting here on Bridgeport Hill so we draw from everybody. We get a lot of interstate traffic so we get people from all parts of the county. We're like a little hub, right in the middle of everything," said Patrick O'Mara, one of three owners of the Brickside Bar and Grille.
O'Mara said the owners envisioned a family friendly restaurant when they opened four years ago.
"We wanted a locally owned, family style bar and grill. A local pub with a local feel like you're at home with your friends having a few drinks, watching the game, getting lunch or dinner," O'Mara said.
O'Mara said there is a wide range of menu items to choose from.
"We have a little bit of everything, we have 16-inch pizzas, we have the biggest wings in town with nine to ten different sauces for our wings. We have seafood specials, a pasta of the day, we have seafood of the day," explained O'Mara.
There are also specials every day for lunch.
"We have almost any sandwich you could want plus the lunch specials: soups and sandwiches. We have fish tacos; we have our beef brisket sandwich which is really popular," said O'Mara.
Todd Fulks works near the Brickside Bar and Grille and said he stops in a lot for lunch and dinner.
"We have a group of guys and gals that will do chicken wings on Thursday nights. At lunch the chili is good, the salads are good, and the burgers are good. The food is good and the atmosphere is great," Fulks said.
The Brickside Bar and Grill also features team trivia on Tuesdays, wing night on Thursdays, and dollar drafts on Sunday.
O'Mara said there's one last reason to give the Brickside a try.
"It's a comfortable place. We try to make everybody feel welcome and feel like you're at your house," said O'Mara.
If you want to try the Brickside Bar and Grille it can be found on Lodgeville Road in Clarksburg.
