Contractors Honored For Work On Lewis County Annex

Posted: Updated:

The Lewis County Judicial Annex is already in use, but it's still making waves in the state.

Morgantown-based contractors March-Westin have been honored by the West Virginia chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors for its work on the Annex.

The building won the firm a 2013 Excellence in Construction Award from the group.

Lewis County Commissioner Agnes Queen said it's a sign of the improvements being made around the county.

"We're smaller than a lot of counties, but good things are happening. And we keep that positive attitude and it's something that we can point to and say, 'See? This was another project that was positive and its exceeded expectation, and we're very excited about that," said Queen.

March-Westin was also honored for its work on five other projects in the area. The projects and categories are listed below.

Institutional $5-$10 Million: Lewis County Judicial Annex, Weston
