Concord University will present "Edgar Allan Poe Comes Alive" just in time for Halloween at 7 p.m. Oct. 25 in the J. Frank Marsh Library on campus.

Craig Scott Jones of the Traveling Jones Theater will perform his one-man show consisting of eight of Poe's masterworks in their entirety. Included are: "The Tell-Tale Heart,"  "The Raven," "Annable Lee," "The Conqueror Worm," "The Masque of the Red Death," "Eldorado," "Spirits of the Dead," and, "A Dream within a Dream."

The pieces are fully memorized and Poe himself (Jones) intersperses humorous biographical bits and pieces about his life.

The show is a free event and is open to the public. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and will close at 7 p.m. For information, call the library at 304-384-5371, or email library@concord.edu.
