More than a year later, a Lewis County landmark is still cleaning up from 2012's derecho.
Crews at Jackson's Mill Conference Center are demolishing the mill's Flameway Hall this week.
The building was damaged when a tree fell through the center of the building due to the high winds from the storm.
Much of the demolition was done Monday.
Mill staff said they're in the early stages of planning for a new building where Flameway used to stand.
There's no details yet on what the new building will hold.
