The Morgantown Police Department arrested a man on multiple charges, including unlawful wounding, Tuesday, according to a news release from the police department.
Danny Eugene Robertson, 37, was arrested and charged with unlawful wounding and destruction of property. The two charges stem from an incident that occurred on September 25, 2013, when police said Robertson threw beer cans through a window of a private residence, causing a resident to be cut with flying glass and debris, according to the news release.
Robertson was also charged with nine separate fraud by use of an access device charges in connection with a theft that occurred on July 25, 2013, according to the news release. Police officers initially responded to a theft from a vehicle where the victim reported that his wallet was stolen. During an investigation into the incident, police discovered that the financial transaction card of the victim has been used at several locations, according to the news release. An investigation into the incident continued and police were able to identify Robertson as the person using the cards, according to the news release.
Robertson is currently in the North Central Regional Jail. Charges are also pending from the Monongalia County Sheriff's Office, according to the news release.
