Fairmont Man Charged in Morgantown Dairy Mart Robbery

Morgantown Police have charged a Fairmont man in an October 20 reported armed robbery at the Willey Street Dairy Mart.

Craig Dontel Jones, 23, was also charged in numerous robberies in Marion County. He is charged with entering without breaking.

Morgantown Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened Monday night.

A press release sent out by the Morgantown Police Department said it happened at 11:30 p.m. at the Dairy Mart on Richwood Avenue.

The clerk said the robber was carrying a tire iron and told him to empty the register, according to the police department. He then fled on foot before police officers got there.

The robber is described as a white male, standing about 6 feet tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a mask over his face, according to the police department.
