The Barbour County Sheriff's Department has released the name of a man killed in a traffic accident last week.
The sheriff's department said Sammy Lee Kennedy, 69, was killed when he lost control of his pickup truck near Corder's Crossing in Barbour County.
A passenger in the vehicle was transported to Broaddus Hospital and eventually flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital for treatment.
No word on her name or condition.
A man is dead, and his wife was injured, after the couple's truck rolled over in Barbour County on Thursday.
The Barbour County Office of Emergency Services said it happened near Corder's Crossing, outside of Philippi around 2 p.m..
The man died at the scene, according to OEM officials, but the woman was taken to Broaddus Hospital. She was then transferred to another hospital.
Authorities have not released the names of the victims or the woman's condition.
