This is College Application and Exploration Week across the state.
Representatives from the "GearUp Program" were at Webster County High School October 14 to help seniors apply for college.
They answered students' questions and helped them find education requirements at state schools.
Representatives said this is especially helpful for students in under-served areas.
"They don't have the exposure, they don't have the college right here in their backyard to where they've had opportunities to see how it all works, what the process is on a more regular basis. So, to come in and help some of these students who are going to have a few more questions than other students who are used to being on a college campus," said JR Luyster, GearUp Regional Coordinator.
"Cause now that I know I've already applied to colleges all I have to do is worry about raising my ACT scores and applying for FAFSA," said Allison Walters, a Webster County High School senior.
Students can apply to any college in the state through one website.
