The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum held the final day of its fall festival on Sunday.
This was the 7th year for the festival that featured music, food vendors, crafts, and more.
Tours of the asylum were offered all weekend along with haunted house tours.
Asylum employees said the event brings a wide range of people to the asylum.
"It brings a lot of different kinds of people into the building. Families and people that wouldn't usually come to this place because of the stigma attached to it will bring their children to do the crafts, and the fairs, and the costume contest, and the karaoke. All of this brings in families and that brings more attention to the historic side of the building," said Sarah Loughrie, an employee at the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum.
There was a car show held on the grounds along with all the vendors and tours on Saturday.
The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum's haunted house will be available all month.
