North View Elementary School students in Clarksburg are learning how to handle money and all the responsibility that goes along with it.
Junior Achievement partnered up with Huntington Bank to offer "JA in a Day".
Sixteen volunteer bankers spent the day teaching third, fourth, and fifth graders about the various aspects of economics.
"We're teaching them today a little bit about the different ways about making payments, about debt, about savings, about starting a business, about being a contributing member of their community, about how the community works, how taxes work, how interest works... so these kids are really bright they're catching on great, they understand a lot more than we think they do," said Jennifer Kinty, community president.
Huntington Bank will sponsor another Junior Achievement day later this year in Monongalia County.
