Saint Joseph's Hospital in Buckhannon offered flu vaccines Wednesday during a drive-by flu clinic.
The vaccine they administered guards against four strains of flu rather than the usual three.
The hospital said vaccination is important for young children, people 65 and older, pregnant women, and people with medical conditions.
"So it's very important to get those antibodies from the flu vaccine and be protected, so they don't get the illness or get seriously sick causing a death from the flu," said Peggy Cohen, of St. Joseph's Hospital.
The hospital gave 132 vaccines in two hours.
If you want to get a vaccine, walk-in clinics will be held on October 16 and October 23.
