Bum the Wonder Horse can perform 150 tricks, and he's been doing it for the last 20 years.
Bum is 27 years old. After all that time, he can still perform.
He showed off some tricks and gave rides to kids on Sunday.
Bum's owner Melvin Langford got Bum when the trick-horse was three years old and they've been inseparable ever since.
"You've got to love your horse and he's got to love you. You can't mistreat him. You can tell someone loves you. Same way I loved him at first sight and he loved me. We've been buddies since the first time we saw each other," said Langford.
That's why Langford gave Bum "his day" on Sunday to show him off to the younger generation.
"Everybody wanted me to show again, and I wasn't able, so this time I said I can let the kids ride a little bit and pet him and take pictures. I wanted to let the kids know and tell them what he can do," Langford said.
Langford is unable to ride Bum due to health reasons, but the horse can still perform a few tricks without Langford riding him.
Bum used to perform in schools and churches all around West Virginia.
Bum and Langford have ridden more than 40,000 miles together over the last 24 years, and they were awarded a lifetime achievement award for their work together.
Langford said Bum is one of the smartest horses around.
"He knows thing that no other horse knows. If you look on the right place on the Internet you'll find in writing that Bum is considered one of the smartest horses in the world. He knows colors and everything. He has a photographic memory and it's all been proved," Langford said.
Langford said Bum can count, remembers places they've been or seen, and even knows his left from right.
