West Virginia State Police are investigating after an incident in Harrison County that sent one man to the hospital.
Harrison County 911 said it happened just after 9:30 p.m. on Enterprise-Bethlehem Road.
Initial reports indicated that a man was found in a ditch and was the victim of a hit-and-run, according to 911 officials. State Police identified the man Friday as Chad William McMillion, 37, of Harrison County. When troopers visited McMillion at Ruby Memorial Hospital Thursday night, he was conscious but suffered from a broken leg.
State police said it's unclear if McMillion was hit by a car, because he isn't cooperating with law enforcement. Another driver noticed McMillion laying near the roadway, but state police said there were no witnesses to the incident.
The Shinnston Fire Department also responded to the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
