Harrison County Commission has adopted a resolution that will help with infrastructure projects in White Oaks.
The Reimbursement Resolution with High Tech Corridor Development, the company that is developing White Oaks, will use future tax increment revenue bonds to reimburse the company for public infrastructure.
Commission said it won't cost taxpayers a dime.
"Future property taxes that they generate for their development will be used to pay for these infrastructure improve. So what White Oaks is doing, is putting up the money up front, with the hope that in the future they will be able to float bonds that will be able to reimburse them," said Mike Romano, of the Harrison County Commission.
Commissioner Romano said the High Tech Corridor Development plans to extend roads at White Oaks to Saltwell Road.
