The Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library is hosting a food drive that will benefit the Salvation Army.
The "Plow Away at Hunger" food drive is part of the library's adult summer reading program, "Dig Into Reading."
The summer reading program focused on "Diamonds in the Rough" which were books that never got checked out of the library.
It's asking for donations at the front desk of canned and non-perishable foods.
Julia Todd is in charge of the drive and said the Salvation Army is in need.
"All the food will go to the Salvation Army because their food pantry is very low. We're accepting any non-perishables, canned goods, pastas, crackers, milk products, dry milk, coffee, tea, anything except for paper products and clothes," Todd said.
The Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library will accept until October.
Any donations can be taken to the library's front desk. For more information, contact Todd at 304-627-2236.
