The Morgantown Police Department is still investigating a hit and run accident that killed a West Virginia University student in September.
Jason Dzuris was a civil engineering student from Harpers Ferry who died after a vehicle struck him on Patteson Drive.
Police said they are still checking surveillance cameras and conducting interviews to find the driver of the vehicle and it could be several months before they receive toxicology reports on Dzuris' remains.

Morgantown Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that resulted in the death of a West Virginia University student on Patteson Drive Sunday morning.
West Virginia University released a statement on Sunday, identifying the victim as Joseph Dzuris of Harper's Ferry. According to WVU, Dzuris was a three-year Resident Assistant in Housing and was completing a civil engineering degree.
WVU is providing counseling services through WELLWVU. To set up an appointment, students can call 304-293-4431.
The university said it will have a bell-ringing service in his honor. It has not yet released details on that service.
The Morgantown Fire Department, Monongalia County EMS, and the Morgantown Police responded to the accident around 5 a.m. on Sunday.
Police said the vehicle was traveling east on Patteson Drive when it struck Dzuris, who was in the roadway. The vehicle fled the scene.
Police said they are reviewing security footage from businesses along 705 to identity vehicles in the area.
