UPDATE: Silver alert canceled for missing Grafton, WV girl
WV State Police and the Taylor County Sheriff's Department are searching for 14-year-old Shawna Way.

The silver alert for Shawna Ann Way who was missing from Grafton, West Virginia has been canceled. She has turned herself in to the West Virginia State Police.
Investigators say Way's disappearance had something to do with social media. However, they did not give further details on how she disappeared or why. Troop One of the West Virginia State Police has issued a silver alert through the Taylor County, West Virginia Sheriff's Department for 14-year-old Shawna Ann Way.
Authorities said Way is mentally impaired. She is 5'2", weighs 120 pounds, and has brown eyes and blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a yellow tye-dyed shirt, pinkish/white shorts and sandals with pink straps. Troopers said Way was last seen at the Briarview Apartments on September 1. The direction of travel is unknown.
