The West Virginia Wildlife Center in Upshur County has opened a concession area in its gift shop.
The wildlife center said a new operator has added four sit-down areas for up to 18 people.
Visitors can order breakfast items, sandwiches, and boxed lunches.
"That's what it's geared for meeting the needs of the public, and that's what we've been asked in the past was if we could have food concessions here where they wouldn't have to go off site," said Gene Thorn.
The concession and gift shop is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the wildlife center's summer season.
People who visit just the gift shop or concession area don't have to pay to get in. They can park in front of the gift shop or across the road.
