West Virginia Wesleyan guard Noah Cottrill has decided to transfer.
Cottrill will continue his college basketball career at Georgetown College. Georgetown is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and is located in Kentucky.
Cottrill was a major recruit three years ago in the mountain state. Several internet recruiting services such as Rivals and Scout, listed him as a four-star recruit. Originally, he had committed to play his college basketball for Head Coach Bob Huggins at West Virginia University.
His time in Morgantown came to an abrupt ending after an exit from the program before the 2010-11 season began. He admitted to being a drug addict following a 2011 arrest in which he was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
However Cottrill began to turn things around a year later, ending up in Buckhannon, playing for Patrick Beilein at West Virginia Wesleyan.
The Logan native averaged 12.9 points per game, to go with three rebounds in one season with the Bobcats.
