E.L. Robinson Engineering has cut the ribbon at its eighth office in three states.
The company, which was established in 1978, serves West Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky and is celebrating its 35th anniversary.
E.L. Robinson provides a full range of engineering services from planning and analysis to design build and implementation. Services include public water and wastewater systems development, bridge and structural engineering, oil and natural gas systems development, transportation engineering, construction management, geotechnical engineering, surveying and technology, mine engineering, land planning and landscape architecture, and site development.
Employees said the move to Bridgeport will help them better serve their customers in the area.
"It is centrally located in North Central West Virginia. We need to expand our geographical region. This is the perfect place to expand to because North Central West Virginia is growing," said Edward L. Robinson, of E.L. Robinson Engineering.
The company is inviting the community to tour its new facility. It's located at Marketplace Avenue in Bridgeport.
