The Benedum Airport Authority discussed some updates to the restaurant space in the North Central West Virginia Airport at the Benedum Airport Authority meeting on Wednesday.
Airport director Rick Rock said Roberto's should open there within the next two weeks.
There have been some updates made to the electric and the roof was repaired.
Roberto's has been closed since May, when fire destroyed its space in the Johnson Center Plaza.
On Tuesday, the airport made a big announcement about a new non-stop air service to Orlando.
The flights will begin on Nov. 14 with service to the Orlando-Sanford International Airport and will be offered twice a week.
An introductory $99 round-trip fare is being offered. Flights at that rate are available through April 29, 2014, but must be booked by Aug. 27
Rock said he's getting lots of great feedback, and people are taking advantage of the deal on flights.
"People are talking about it on the street, people are taking about it on social media, I'm getting phone calls, my wife is getting phone calls, and people are just talking about it. It's exactly what we want and that's the excitement we want. It shows we picked the right destination. People are excited and I hope they stay excited," explained Rock.
Rock said if this flight "takes off" and does well, the airport will look into other destinations through Allegiant Air.
