The sixth annual Purple Power Night will be held August 14 at Appalachian Power Park in Charleston.
West Virginia Power will take on the Greensboro Grasshoppers at 7:05 p.m.
As part of the festivities, the team will be wearing purple jerseys in honor and memory of all those with pancreatic cancer. The jerseys will be up for auction during the game.
Raymond Bray, a pancreatic cancer survivor from Bridgeport, will be throwing the ceremonial first pitch.
