    The West Virginia Child Advocacy Network and West Virginia Coalition Against Domestic Violence are getting help from Verizon's HopeLine program to help those affected by domestic violence and child abuse.

CHARLESTON, WV (AP) — The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce says it's expecting record turnout next month for its annual business summit at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs.

More than 600 people have already registered for the 77th annual meeting. Chamber President Steve Roberts says that's a potentially record-breaking pace.

Among the speakers for the Aug. 28-30 event are former U.S. Ambassador to China John Huntsman, members of West Virginia's congressional delegation and Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield CEO William Winkenwerder Jr.

Panel discussions will focus on public education, the judiciary, manufacturing, technology and energy production.
