Morgantown High School students decided to help the Monongalia County Child Advocacy Center with payments for its new building.
The students held a bake sale Monday in the parking lot of the building to raise money.
The sale was put together by Miss West Virginia Outstanding Teen 2011.
"You have to have a platform. My platform is kids in community service, and it's all about getting kids today involved in community service. And I've done a couple bake sales before, and I decided to do one again. It's called 'Baking for Kids,'" said Isabel Raese, Miss West Virginia Outstanding Teen 2011.
Around 10 girls from MHS baked the homemade goods over the weekend for the sale.
