Nancy Bickerstaff has been working to renovate 300 First Street in Fairmont for several years.
It was the home to Thomas and Annie Fleming in 1901 and now it belongs to the Women's Club of Fairmont.
Bickerstaff has renovated the inside, replaced windows and redone the exterior with pebble dash stucco.
Marion County Commission has given the Women's Club $5,000 for its next project.
"The chimneys have to be repointed. We were rejected on a shippo grant and its $10,000 to do that. Kindly the county commission granted us $5,000," Bickerstaff said.
The Women's Club will hold fundraisers to raise the extra $5,000.
