PACE Shredding offered free document shredding for senior citizens Monday afternoon.
Senator Bob Beach teamed up with PACE last year to offer the service.
Senior citizens could bring in sensitive documents to be shredded for free.
Beach said this is an easy way for seniors to get rid of their sensitive documents.
"Well, seniors don't have a ready access to destroy sensitive documents, one lady suggested earlier today to soak the papers in water, and then throw them in the trash, which is a little bit of a hassle obviously. So this gives them an easy way to get rid of those sensitive items that are in their home, that accumulate quite quickly for most families," said Senator Beach.
Senator Beach said PACE stayed busy all day.
