The outdoors was celebrated at Adaland Mansion in Barbour County on Saturday.
Some 4-H kids were able to go on a hike around the mansion to learn about the nature of plants surrounding the mansion as well as the heritage of the mansion itself.
"The mansion is something that the kids have not seen before and its our heritage. I think the kids just need to be out away from everything and enjoy the outdoors," said Beryl Curkendall, 4-H Leader.
Children were able to weave baskets, and participate in many outdoor games.
