Thirteen Monongalia County businesses were put to an alcohol compliance test and two failed on June 26, 2013.
Sheriff's Department Deputies and an underage worker conducted the tests.
The 11 businesses that DID NOT sell alcohol were:
Dairy Mart on Willey St., BFS in Cheat Lake, Mid-Atlantic Market in Cheat Lake, Ashbrooke Express Mart in Cheat Lake, Smoker Friendly on Venture Dr., Shop-N-Save on Venture Dr., Smoker Friendly in Cheat Lake, Pilot on Smithtown Rd., Get-Go on Don Knotts Blvd., and BFS on Don Knotts Blvd.
The BFS on Venture Drive and the Circle-K on Point Marion Road both sold to the underage buyer.
The two clerks who sold the alcohol, Monet Burnett, 22 (BFS) and David Wilhelm, 26 (Circle-K) are being cited for selling to an underage person.
