On Thursday, Clarksburg City Council held its work session to discuss all the projects it hopes to complete in the near future.
The council, along with City Manager Martin Howe, discussed the options of adding additional lighting and possibly some bathrooms to Jackson Square in downtown Clarksburg.
Martin also discussed sidewalk improvements and road maintenance at the intersection of Route 50 and Emily Drive.
"July 1st what we did, we put out of our general fund into the budget $100,000 and what that is for is to keep the entrance of EastPointe beautiful," said Clarksburg Mayor Patsy Trecost.
Trecost said money will be handed over to the state, who will handle those projects.
