Saturday, WVUH's urgent care facility will open inside the Suncrest Town Center in Morgantown.
Wednesday, WVUH held an open house for the new location.
The new building has 15 new beds, which is up from the 8 at the old Urgent Care location on Van Voorhis Road. The facility is stocked with new medical and radiology equipment.
The new facility reflects Urgent Care's Growth.
" We are growing along with the rest of WVU Hospitals," said Urgent Care's medical director Carmen Burrell. "As they've increased in size our population has increased with it, and we have seen over 120-thousand patients to date. We see on average about 67 patients (a day) but that increases during flue season to over 100."
Urgent Care will not be closed any day, and opens Saturday morning at 8.
