West Virginia State Police have arrested Terry Michael Garton, 52, of Jane Lew, and charged him with domestic battery, brandishing, and malicious assault in connection to a June 24 stabbing.
The victim told law enforcement that Garton had cut him with a knife after the two had an argument, according to the criminal complaint. Witnesses said that Garton was intoxicated at the time and fled the scene.
Garton is being held in Central Regional Jail on $10,000 bail.
West Virginia State Police are investigating a stabbing that happened in Jane Lew Sunday night.
A father stabbed his son, who was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown with non-life threatening injuries, said Trooper Zach Cooper.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
