Kids in Barbour County got a lesson in staying active Wednesday morning.
Alderson-Broaddus College provided a three-day camp for kids ages 7 to 13 from across the county.
The children learned to play many different sports and activities with help from student volunteers from the college.
Organizers want kids to see there are many different ways to keep up their activity level.
"We have runners here, we have soccer players, we have people who don't play any sports, but now they can go and play even a simple lawn game to keep them moving and having fun, that's the main take away from this camp," said Lara Foster of Alerson-Broaddus College.
Foster said the kids enjoyed the camp so much and they are looking to host a similar event again in July or August.
