Some children received the opportunity to fly above the city of Morgantown on Saturday.
The Young Eagles program was introduced at the Morgantown Airport. The program is presented by the Experimental Aircraft Association.
"Geared towards kids between the age of 8 and 17," said Richard Judy, Young Eagles Coordinator. "Try to expose them to aviation. Let them see what aviation is all about. Hopefully inspiring them with science, technology, engineering and math. Those courses and also inspiring them to pursue a career in aviation."
The event had around 10 aircrafts doing about 250 20 minutes trips around the city.
