In this week's Test it Tuesday, Tony and I begin a fitness challenge to see if the Ab Coaster Max really delivers results.
The makers promise that the Ab Coaster will strengthen and tone your core more efficiently than crunches, and with less stress on your back. The user kneels on a pad that runs along a curved track and a sensor counts each rep.
To begin, Tony and I set our base lines on the machine. There are three exercises; one going straight forward and backward, and one on each side to strengthen oblique muscles.
I achieve 35, 20 and 20 for a total of 75. Tony reaches 51, 40 and 40 for 131.
We will keep using the machine, and after several weeks test ourselves again to see who has improved the most.
