TRAIN WV held a meeting at Stonewall Resort Monday to help parents and insurance providers navigate new rules about dealing with autism.
State-funded insurance plans are now required to cover autism in certain situations but organizers said actually getting that help can be difficult.
"Families just aren't aware of their rights. They don't know that the law has been passed or what is covered under the law. Professionals don't know how to bill," said Emily Morris, of TRAIN WV.
