Alderson-Broaddus College will greet its largest freshman class over the summer.
More than 450 students will register for classes over the next few months.
The college also has expanded its facilities to meet the demands of all those new students.
"This year with the new residence hall, we're adding just under 500 new beds to campus, so that will help a lot of the upperclassmen who will be moving to those halls," said Zachary Ward, of Alderson-Broaddus.
This is the second year in a row the college has had a record-setting freshman class.
Last year's freshman class had about 400 students.
