The dust has barely settled on Memorial Day, but one Lewis County attraction is already looking ahead to Halloween.
Workers have started building the haunted house at the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum.
The asylum will spend the summer on the project and said that 80- 90 percent of the haunted house changes every year, including the layout of the walls inside.
"Most of it, it doesn't have any load-bearing walls. The framework here is the support for the building, so I can move any wall I want to, pretty much," said John Jordan, of the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum.
The haunted house will have about 1,000 LED lights, 45 fog machines and at least 60 black lights.
