Morgantown High School has hosted a Memorial Day gathering for the last 11 years.
The event included the 249th Army Band and other musical performances.
And a special gift was presented to MHS to be displayed in the school.
"Collecting those casings I thought it would be a good idea. I pass them out to the speakers and to the people that say the prayers and things like that. So I started engraving them and I decided it was a good way to remember my classmates that died in Vietnam," said David Hines, Veteran.
The casings have the same names of the 17 veterans that are on the memorial outside of MHS.
