The 8th annual Spirit of Grafton festival is this weekend in Grafton.
This year was the first to included carnival rides.
There were vendors, rides, and games.
Kevin Stead, City Manager, said the festival has grown every year.
"It started out as the 150th anniversary of the city of Grafton. The council at that time saw the outpouring of support we had that first year and they said, ‘lets make this an annual event.' We've made it an annual event, we want to expand on it, maybe make it more days, hopefully bring the amusement rides back," said Stead.
The festival continues on Sunday and ends with the 146th annual Memorial Day parade on Monday.
