First Energy will bring its annual shareholders meeting here to Morgantown Tuesday.
Monday, First Energy officials met with the media in Fairmont to talk about two controversial issues.
One is the company's proposal for Mon Power to buy the 80 percent of the Harrison Power Station that it doesn't own from another First Energy subsidiary, Allegheny Energy Supply.
The Public Service Commission will begin hearings on the proposal next week.
Officials also discussed ongoing contract negotiations with two of its unions.
