Mother's Day is officially over and one of the most popular ways to celebrate was taking mom out for a bite to eat.
Many different places held Mother's Day brunches, dinners and even Garden Parties.
Lakeview Resort held a brunch with everything from crab legs to desserts
The Waterfront Place Hotel held a spring time garden party with themed food and activities.
"It's something we had about two years ago," said Deb Mathews, from the Waterfront Place Hotel. "It's over in our event center that's brand new, it's only about three years old. We actually have a jazz band and a photographer giving complimentary pictures to guests who want to get their pictures taken."
The event also had a table for children to decorate cookies for their mothers.
A brunch buffet was held at the Bridgeport Conference Center.
The buffet offered specially made omelets, waffles, and hand carved meats.
Stonewall Resort also offered a brunch buffet. Every mom received a carnation at the door and some special offers from the resort.
Moms could play a round of golf for 50% off, and receive 20% off at the gift shop.
