Morgantown's South Middle School hosted a pageant all on its own Saturday afternoon.
Stepping Stones held its 9th Annual Miss Ability Pageant.
The pageant is an opportunity for people of all ages with physical and mental disabilities to enjoy the pageant experience and share their talents.
Participant also got their hair and nails done as part of the pageant festivities.
Organizers said they'd like to see the event spread outside of Morgantown.
"There's nothing like this around. The young lady who actually started this moved to Virginia and she actually has a pageant there in Virginia now, and this is her second year there. So we're trying to spread this, we'd love to have one in every state," said pageant organizer Monica Marietta.
WBOY's April Kaull was on hand to emcee the annual event.
