The Harrison County Sheriff's Department hosted its annual safety fair on Saturday.
This was the 11th year for the fair that allows kids to meet first responders and learn safety tips.
Despite dreary weather, food vendors, games, safety demonstrations, and visitors filled Clarksburg City Park.
Harrison County Sheriff Albert Marano said the fair is all about letting the kids interact with the first responders so they can get to know them.
"They get to meet us in a non-stressful type situation. That way if they're ever in a stressful situation whether it's a car accident or a house fire, they'll be more familiar with us and hopefully not scared," said Marano.
The fair had lots of free gifts for the kids that were all safety themed.
