In light of this event, 12News wanted to remind the public about the five local people who are still listed as missing on the West Virginia State Police website.
Probably the most well-known case is that of Lewis County girl Aliayah Lunsford. Lunsford was reported missing from her Lewis County home in September 2011. The FBI is still offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case. If you have any information on Aliayah's disappearance, call the W.Va. Clarden Rowan, Jr., now 63, was reported missing from Buckhannon more than 20 years ago, in January of 1991. Rowan was last seen wearing a flannel shirt, t-shirt, jeans, and work boots.
