Students at Davis & Elkins College will soon be finishing up for the year, but not without one last hoorah.
On Friday night, the college kicked off its annual 'Deja Vu' music festival, featuring hip hop artist Sean Kingston.
Those who participated said the annual festival is all for the students.
"We start out by asking the students what they want," said Shane Jones of D&E's campus activity board. "We do surveys and work with the students to see what kind of genres they would like."
"For us, it's just a blast. Anytime we can play, pretty much any show, we just like to have fun with people who come to see us," said Mark Longhelt of Elim, the event's opening act.
"Especially with it being the end of their semester," said Mike Longhelt of Elim.
The festivities continue at noon on Saturday for D&E Spirit Day. Country star Justin Moore will take the stage later in the night.
Events of D&E Spirit Day include face painting, ultimate Frisbee, student teacher portfolio presentations, an improvisation workshop, tug-of-war, "Angry Birds" course, moon bounce, and paintball.
