A staple in Harrison County is getting national recognition.
Tomaro's bakery in Clarksburg is known for it's pepperoni rolls and fresh breads all over West Virginia.
Soon, it may be known all over the country.
It was recently picked by Zagat to represent West Virginia in "The 50 Plates of America: A Culinary Journey Across the U.S."
"Some folks came last fall to the bakery and as they were telling us, they were going to restaurants all around the state, and even though we aren't a bakery they wanted to try us because of the pepperoni rolls. So they went to bakeries and restaurants all around the state," said Steve Schartiger, general manager.
Tomaro's will celebrate its 100th year of business next year.
