MVB Bank has appointed Michael Malfregeot to the position of vice president, retail/small business development.
Malfregeot also will oversee the branch operations for the bank in downtown Clarksburg.
With nearly a decade of banking and financial industry experience, Malfregeot will manage the retail team in Clarksburg to initiate deposits, solicit retail loans and foster client relationships.
A Harrison County native, Malfregeot is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon. At Wesleyan, he earned his bachelor of science degree in business management. He also holds a master of business administration degree from Shepherd University.
He is a board member of Criss-Cross Inc. and the RCB Alumni Foundation. He also serves as an executive board member and treasurer for the Kiwanis Club of Clarksburg.
He serves on the board of directors for the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce and for the Sacred Heart Children's Center.
