Everyone knows the Chestnut Mountain Ranch Spring Mudder includes a lot of muddy fun and challenges.
Something many people may be aware of is the money raised goes to helping change a young child's life.
The 'Mudder' is all about getting down and dirty while going through some of the hardest obstacles around like a climbing wall and even jumping through fire.
Mud, climbing walls, fire, and even more mud. That's what any mud run consists of.
The Spring Mudder gives Chestnut Mountain Ranch the chance to bring people in to see the property and raise money for their boys homes.
"The ranch is going to become residential really soon which is going to make a huge difference because there are children don't have the opportunity to drive back and forth and come into the ranch every day," said Kent McBride, the Race Director and Board of Directors member at Chestnut Ranch. "So when the ranch can afford house parents and along with the children living here full time it will be able to have a huge impact on their lives."
This year, the Ranch had so many people sign up that it held two separate mudders back to back.
The next Chestnut Ranch mud run will be in September.
