If you're a teacher it may be hard to keep your student's attention if all they can think about is playing games on their iPad.
That's why teaching is becoming more and more technology based.
So, the West Virginia Center for Development is helping teachers understand new equipment and technology, with Basic iPad Training classes.
"Really help the teachers understand that this can be a learning device not just a gaming device. because a lot of students already have them at home but what they're using them for is gaming, music communication device. Really they can use it as an instructional tool in their classroom and they should be to keep students more engaged," said Lorrie Smith of the W.Va. Center for Development.
These classes are going on across the state.
