The American Association of Retired Persons held a driving safety course Wednesday at the Wiles Hill Community Center in Morgantown.
AARP said it's important for seniors to take a refresher course.
The class may help them save on car insurance, too.
"The biggest challenge they face, is because they age, their limitations. You don't see as well, hears as well, you reactions are not as well. So you have to work harder, be more alert," saidBob Steele, AARP volunteer instructor.
The class instructor said seniors should minimize distractions and try to stay in good physical health.
He said accidents are more likely to occur in drivers 75 or older.
